Dr Teresa Macchia focuses her activities on designing sustainable technologies. Her interest in the impact of technological innovation on society and her multidisciplinary competences in architecture and design, sociology, and Human-Computer Interaction led her to work across the UK, Italy, Finland, and the USA. She has been working on applied research and innovation for public bodies and for the private sector to inspire alternative adoptions of IoT technologies and, more generally, connected technologies.
