Henry Muccini

Henry Muccini Associate Professor at DISIM University of L'Aquila (Italy) - Member of CINI Smart City Laboratory

A software architect and engineer, Henry Muccini is an Associate Professor in Computer Science at the Information Engineering and Computer Science and Mathematics (DISIM) Department, University of L’Aquila, Italy. I got my PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Rome, La Sapienza and spent my PostDoc  at the University of California Irvine (USA).

Henry is leading research on software architecture descriptions, architectures for IoT, data-driven Software Engineering, Smart Cities, and collaborative Model Driven Engineering.

Henry is currently also leading the Uffizi Galleries – UnivAQ project and two laboratories: the University of L’Aquila CINI Smart Cities & Communities laboratory (https://www.consorzio-cini.it/index.php/en/national-laboratories/laboratorio-smart-cities), and the Internet of Things Living Lab. Henry is also the responsible for two double degree international study programmes in software engineering and computer science (GSEEMI2COST), and he is also involved in Erasmus Mundus and Erasmus+ programmes.
